Sunset by the Pond

"I have been painting in pastels for ten years now and the more I paint the more I love the medium. It's immediacy is perfect for capturing nature's flitting conditions when painting outdoors.

I consider myself primarily a landscape painter who occasionally paints florals and still lifes. Whether I paint outdoors or in my studio my main goal is to translate in paper how my senses respond to a particular scene or object." Adriana Meiss
