During our February meeting, member Bill Elkins talked about his workshop experience with watercolorist John Salminen. Bill explained the several steps taken in producing the abstract above, which he titled The Jazz Singer.
He also talked about the techniques learned and how he has used them to complete other work.

This was a great meeting, I ended up with a whole list of techniques which I will include in the bonus page of the OAG Newsletter - stay tuned.
